Plants for Health

Updated: Nov 6, 2019

It is my opinion that our modern American food supply has so far departed from it's original creation that we are shocked at how well our bodies respond to pure, plant-based nutrition.

I am continually surprised at how my body thrives with the supplements I'm using and suffers when I run out of something. I shouldn't be.

"Then God said, “I have just given you every green plant yielding seed that is on the surface of the whole land, and every tree, which has the fruit of a tree yielding seed. They are to be food for you." Genesis 1:29

Way back in 1986, when I was 19 years old, I lived in Guatemala for four months. I lived on a largely vegetarian diet and walked everywhere. In fact, we walked two miles into town twice a week, so four miles round trip.

Guess which one is me!

The day after I got home to the States, my clothes started getting tight again. I'm not advocating vegetarianism; I'm saying the standard American diet is full of artificial ingredients that we do. not. need.

Along Came PURE

That's why I'm so grateful for PURE! After 23+ years of illness from Lyme disease, the last four of which were spent in a wheelchair due to joint pain, I am finally getting better! Now, don't get me wrong. This is not the first time we tried good nutrition, but for whatever reason, God seems to have His hand on this company and its products. If you are struggling with chronic illness, or if you just feel less than your best, give them a try! They're helping many of my family and friends!

Travel Plans

In fact, because of the renewed health, I'm working several home-based businesses now and going on all kinds of travel adventures! Next week Rowdy and I will be cruising to the Bahamas on a short, 3-day cruise; our first ever! Stay tuned for pictures!

Call to Action

First of all, I need to apologize to my children for feeding them poison. All the fast food, sodas, etc. were nothing more than slow-acting poison and I'm sorry I didn't know any better than to feed it to you. We know better now. Our bodies are built on food, and just because God designed them to be good at getting rid of toxins doesn't mean we should abuse that system. The consequences eventually hit us.

So consider your actions carefully, and commit to taking care of your body and restoring your health!
